mia taylor will present an extension of C.H.E.E.R, a key work included in her solo show flat pack at toomer labzda’s inaugural exhibition in june 2011. specifically made for NADA Miami, taylor will create an ambitiously scaled C.H.E.E.R Miami, comprised of 185 individual paintings on plastic sheeting.
the paintings can be collected individually or as a group and may be re-constructed as desired. characteristic of taylor's formal yet playful practice, C.H.E.E.R Miami experiments with notions of artistic control and the nomadic economies of art, fairs and collectors.
